Geniio is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is name originates from the word genius which in Latin is genio. 

 

Geniio first began his rap career in December of 2019 by releasing his first single, Lady Killing Romantic. In February of 2020 Geniio released his first full length project Days B4. This project gained the attention of professional content creator Tytheguy which led the songs Capitalist, and She Heard I Paint Houses to attain over 115,000 streams on Spotify.

In December of 2020 Geniio released his EP If Ruth Wore Goyard, and announced that he would be retiring from music due to personal reasons.  After releasing his EP, Geniio deleted his Instagram and Soundcloud account.

In March 2021 Geniio ended his retirement by releasing She Thinks I'm Future but I'm Russell with Demons. In May of 2021 Geniio announced his second retirement and deleted his entire catalog. In September of 2021 he released R.I.P X ft Fargo444. The song was featured by Elevator Magazine and has received a combined number of over 200,000 views on all streaming services. In February of 2022 Geniio released his full-length project Methadone. Songs from the project First Day Rich and Cry For The Villain where featured on short films Alone In the Hills and God Bless The Hamptonians
